- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 17-year-old girl with facial edema and weakness. The patient was presented to her dentist with right-sided facial swelling due to an infected tooth which was extracted. The patient shows a progression of facial edema with fevers as well as the failure of intravenous antibiotics. The patient was administered with appropriate treatment to prevent disease-related fatality for dermatomyositis.
