- Abstract
First, the authors note that the increase of antipsychotic drug prescription was associated with a worsening in behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia and with reduced access to care following COVID-19 social restrictions. Comment & Response B To the Editor b We read with great interest the article by Luo et al,[1] which reports that the rate of antipsychotic medication prescriptions among older adults with dementia increased in 6 countries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
