- Title
2024: The Foreign Policy Election.
- Authors
Fajardo, Abraham
- Abstract
The upcoming presidential election in the United States will be heavily influenced by foreign policy. The candidates, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, have contrasting views on America's role in the world, and voters will judge them based on their incumbency record. While economic concerns have traditionally played a significant role in elections, the current geopolitical crises abroad have shifted the focus to foreign policy. Trump's "America First" approach emphasizes isolationism, while Biden believes in America's global leadership and the defense of democratic values. The outcome of the election will determine who will lead the country in addressing these international challenges.
