- Abstract
For -thalassemia, Li et al.4 reported that in 50 pediatric patients who received HSCT between 1998 and 2009, the probabilities of 5-year overall survival and thalassemia-free survival after the first HSCT were 83.1 and 67.3%, respectively. Their study demonstrated favorable outcome of allogeneic HSCT for BHFS patients, albeit with small sample number.
