- Abstract
This article focuses on the occurrence of an ichthyobodo-like organism on captive Atlantic spadefish, Chaetodipterus faber. Seven Atlantic spadefish were acquired by a public aquarium from the wild and placed in a quarantine holding system with 0.25 mg copper for 6 weeks before being put on display. Approximately 4 months after being placed on exhibit, 12 planehead filefish, Monacanthus hispidus, nine slippery dicks, Halichoeres hivittatus, one black sea bass, Centropristis striata, two crested blennies, Hypleurochilus geminatus, and one striped grunt, Haemulon striatum, were added to the system.
