- Authors

- Abstract
An interview with Israeli activist-thinkers Yael Berda, Sally Abed and Eli Cook is presented. They discuss the changes for Israeli leftists since the October 7, 2023 attack by the Hamas militant group on Israel, including rallies led by the grassroots movement Standing Together, neoliberal protests in Tel Aviv, and the protests to free the hostages of Hamas in Gaza. They address the international left's argument that the Israeli left is marginal and that the Israeli society has become militarized and indifferent to Palestinian pain. They recognize the Palestinian liberation movement and their collective trauma and suggests the need for political will within the Israeli society to resolve the dispute. They cite the people's hatred and anger toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
