- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports that a study on cancer care in the United States has found the majority of patients are receiving high-quality care, although there is room for improvement. The study reviewed medical records from five major urban areas in the U.S. to determine the treatment rates and measures for breast and colorectal cancer. Overall, care was of high quality for patients at diagnosis, after surgery and in ongoing treatment. One area for improvement was in adjuvant chemotherapy for post-operative patients.
