- Abstract
This article discusses a study comparing the effectiveness and safety of two treatments, terlipressin and norepinephrine, for hepatorenal syndrome (HRS). The study found that both treatments were equally effective in improving kidney function and stabilizing hemodynamic status without significant adverse effects. The analysis also showed no significant differences between the two groups in terms of baseline characteristics, medical history, and various health parameters. Norepinephrine was found to be a viable alternative to terlipressin, as it was safe, more cost-effective, and easily accessible. However, further research is needed to confirm these findings.
