- Abstract
Backgrounds: Since the human immunodeficiency virus was first discovered in 1983, several treatment options have been developed. With an increased prevalence of people living with HIV on life-long Highly Active antiretroviral therapy should be required. This research intends to fill the gaps in the conceptual approach of quality of life of people living with HIV through meaning centered group psychotherapy. Materials and Method: Non Probability Purposive Sampling technique was used and samples were patients taking ART medication in ART center Bhubaneswar. The selection criteria were; People living with HIV those are present at the time of data collection and Clients who are willing to participate in the study. We excluded People living with HIV those were not present at the time of data collection and clients who are not willing to participate in the study. Results: It is revealed that relationship of quality of life within selected demographic variables and paired t-test was used for comparison between pre test and post test quality of life, correlation between pre test and post test both quality of life in experimental group. Conclusions: The findings conclude that the meaning centered group psycho therapy developed by the researcher was found to be helpful in improvement of quality of life of people living with HIV
