- Abstract
The article presents a case-study of a 15-year-old female who presented with complaints of short, curly, brittle hair since birth. Three of her siblings also present the same complaints. She and her three siblings were later diagnosed with autosomal recessive (AR) familial woolly hair. It notes that woolly hair syndrome is a group of disorders involving structural defects in the hair shaft characterized by extreme kinkiness of scalp hair.
