- Abstract
This article reports on a rare case of a patient with minimal change nephrotic syndrome, juvenile temporal arteritis (JTA), and eosinophilia. JTA is a rare disease characterized by localized vasculitis involving the temporal artery, and it is more commonly seen in younger male patients. Kimura's disease, another rare disease, often involves the internal organs, including the kidney, but the simultaneous development of JTA and nephrotic syndrome has not been reported before. The patient in this case study was a middle-aged woman, which is atypical for JTA. The authors suggest that further investigation is needed to determine if JTA is a manifestation of Kimura's disease.
