- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined how the dynamic properties of neoprene rubber bearings were affected by cyclic compression and thermal imaging. It noted that the change of dynamic properties of neoprene rubber bearings can be attributed to the changes of molecular structure. It found that the deterioration of dynamic properties of neoprene rubber bearings caused by either cyclic compression or by thermal aging is important and need to be considered in designing rubber bearings.
