- Abstract
Head-to-head studies of these new and upcoming agents against MS have not yet been conducted; however, the efficacy gaps between medical and surgical treatments for obesity are narrowing. In contrast, better treatment options may spark greater interest in obesity treatment, which will ultimately increase the demand for both medical and surgical treatment. As such, MS remains a relevant treatment option for many people with obesity, and it is unlikely to wane in popularity with the proliferation of anti-obesity pharmacotherapies.
