- Abstract
The article offers the authorsi insights on the article by Scott Poynting on Australian peace movement, that was published in the previous issue of "Labour History." The authors state that the article of Poynting is a reminder of the intense anti-communism in Australia during the early period of Cold War. They mentions some of the wrong accounts of Poynting on Australian peace movement, and misrepresentation on their position on the subject. They say that Poynting overlooked the creation of the new peace tradition, the Eureka Youth League, in 1960s.
