- Abstract
The article discusses the aspect of close reading on sound objects. It suggests that sound objects require the refinement of reading in order to interpret their textual evidences and implication. It also explores the textual characteristics and sound components of these objects and analysis its sounds delivery. It suggests that production methods for these objects should be given emphasis by close readers through the repetition in performance of a particular piece. It also points out that digital portability of sound in web-based media promotes easy access during close reading. This initiative helps in conveying the implication of the object to the readers.
