This article provides a literary critique of the book "Obras completas (y otros cuentos)," particularly the short stories "Mr. Taylor" and "El eclipse," written by Guatemalan author Augusto Monterroso. It outlines Monterroso's use of satire, irony, and political criticism. The author explores the anti-imperialistic and anti-colonial aspects of the stories.
