Fernando Vallejo: piensa mal y acertarás.
- Authors
Mery Giraldo, Luz
- Abstract
Fernando Vallejo is one of the most controversial Colombian authors nowadays. His fluid, pungent, irreverent prose is affiliated with the oral tradition from Antioquia culture and his spirit can be related to the tradition of Tomás Carrasquilla, José María Vargas Vila and the Nadaístas. His essays about science pose existence as relative and support his vision of the country and its history, also questioned in his literature. With his autobiographical fiction, supported in a narrative Self, he can penetrate reality and his characters in order to project the voice of an evil minded in the contemporary world.
