- Abstract
The article discusses the defense of human rights law in Europe by the European Court (EC) and the Court of Justice of the European Communities as it applies to court cases about articles 6, 8, and 13 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) which took place from January-July 2002. It discusses the impact several cases concerning special rights for public undertakings including the Max Mobil case, the Jégo-Quéré case, and Unión de Pequeños Agricultores (UPA) v. Council.
