TIME-MINDEDNESS AND JURISPRUDENCE.
- Authors
Luban, David
- Abstract
The article provides a response to Professor Gerald J. Postema's article "Jurisprudence, the Sociable Science" which appears in the same issue of the journal and critiques contemporary analytic jurisprudence for being antisocial, antiphilosophical, and mistaken about the nature of law. The late legal philosopher John Austin's views about the province of jurisprudence are mentioned, along with topics such as sociability and legal philosopher H.L.A. Hart's book "The Concept of Law."
