Abstract
The article focuses on several innovative research, tools, technologies, programs and ideas related to ecological restoration in the U.S. It includes the study on Japanese knotweed composting at the Delaware County in New York, the seed bank viability in stockpiled topsoil in Appalachia, and the Broomsedge communities that are resistant to cogongrass plant invasion. It adds the biofilm microbial community structure on the impact of two dams in Elwha River in Washington.
