- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 72-year old man with a history of diabetes mellitus and with blurred vision, redness in left eye and ocular pain. He was diagnosed with endophthalmitis caused by trichosporon fungi. Intavitreal injections of voriconazole were given to the patient. It has been studied that voriconazole is very effective against several fungal species. Treatment with voriconazole and removal of intraocular lenses enabled successful resolution of the infection.
