- Authors
Calderon, Orly; Ruben, Lenore
- Abstract
Studies indicate that many mental health clinicians do not follow evidence-based guidelines for assessment of ADHD. This article combines a literature review of diagnostic and evaluation issues in ADHD with original case study illustrations that delineate a step-by-step evidence-based best practice model for clinical assessment of ADHD according to three criteria: contextual, multidimensional, and specificity.
