- Abstract
The article determines clinical trial evidentiary safety data requirements at the time of drug regulation, approval and funding in Canada as a vital factor that renders misalignment of incentives, increased costs and diminished outcomes. It specifies the problem as data divide predicament, wherein there is a divide accentuated in nature and quality of evidence for drug approval in context to its sale and distribution at the federal level.
