- Abstract
The article discusses relations between the U.S. and Russia, examining the history of the relationship as well as changes that might be made by U.S. President-elect Barack Obama. The U.S. needs Russia's help in battling global challenges including the economic crisis, global warming, and radical Islam, the article states. Other topics include Kremlinologists who have poisoned the U.S.-Russia relationship from 2000-2008, America's relationship with a post-Communist Russia, and anti-American rhetoric emanating from Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.
