- Abstract
The article reports on the announcement made by the World Food Program (WFP) that environmental damage, drought and climate change is threatening Madagascar. Earthwatch Institute, an international non-governmental organization, states that many organizations are decreasing their activities in the place because of poor security and lack of funding. Moreover, World Bank also states that the place has seen a 10% increase in temperature and 10% decrease in rainfall in the past half century.
