The article focuses on evaluating the usability of telemedicine user interfaces (UIs). It highlights the importance of these interfaces being both usable and rhetorically effective in encouraging patient engagement, and it reports that by identifying usability issues in three telemedicine provider UIs, it sheds light on significant aspects of digital rhetoric crucial to optimizing telemedicine UIs, ultimately offering heuristics for achieving optimal usability in these interfaces.
