Title
Groundwater Pumping Raises Sea Levels.
Abstract
The article discusses research from professor Yoshihide Wada of Utrecht University in the Netherlands on the impact that groundwater pumping will have on sea levels. The data suggests that by 2050, the water evaporation and runoff from non-ice, land-based water sources and reservoirs will increase sea levels by 0.8 millimeters per year.
