Abstract
The article reports on the effects of investing in energy efficient, transit-oriented and urban regeneration office properties in the U.S. According to the study conducted by Responsible Property Investments (RPI), energy-efficient properties with the government's Energy Star label performed better than non-labeled properties. It further states that Energy Star properties exhibited higher market values and higher net income per square foot.
