- Abstract
The cover image presents an artificially colored transmission electron micrograph of cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanocrystals templated on a protein microtubule (MT). This image is superimposed on a colorful brightfield image of MT‐templated CdS nanostructures bound to a silicon substrate. In the article on page 863, E. D. Spoerke and co‐workers discuss how biomediated, in vitro assembly of the MT templates to form arrays, rings, and asters facilitates the growth of complex semiconducting CdS nanostructures.
