- Abstract
The authors discuss the project called ESSKA Meniscus Consensus Project, initiated by the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) following its congress in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 2014. Topics discussed include the plan to find a European consensus on the treatment of degenerative meniscal lesions (DML), review of research findings, and the identification by the initiative of limitations in the current understanding of DML.
