- Abstract
The author reflects on the differences in bayesian approach and likelihood-ratio tests for the examination of evidences presented in legal practices to the juries for decision making. It discusses the accuracy of the bayesian approach utilized by forensic scientists in coming to a conclusion in legal cases through forensic analysis. It also cites the R v. T court case in which the juries favored the results demonstrated by statisticians in forensic evaluation of evidence.
