- Abstract
The article focuses on regulation of the transnational cloud surveillance through possible technical and organizational responses of cloud service providers. Topics discussed include USA PATRIOT Act, the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 and PRISM as a clandestine mass electronic surveillance data mining program launched by the National Security Agency (NSA). It also discusses a brief history of the development of the internet security in the U.S and the ARPAnet established by the government.
