- Abstract
The article presents news briefs related to teacher education in Massachusetts. The New England Economic Council had sponsored the Third Annual Workshop on Economic Education which was held at Andover last June 27 through July 15, 1955. The workshop was directed by Stanley P. Wronski, associate professor of Education at Boston University. A spoken sequence curriculum guide for 12 grades and a pamphlet entitled "How New England People Make Their Living" were some of the things that were asked for the workshop participants to prepare. The Massachusetts Teachers Association had sponsored an annual leadership conference which was held in Pittsfield last August 29, 30 and 31, 1955. Karl H. Berns, assistant secretary for Field Operations National Education Association served as advisor of the conference.
