- Abstract
The author reflects on the different types of human papillomavirus (HPV) which belong to the strongest human carcinogens. Topics include strong connection of different HPV 16 variants and invasive carcinomas and precancerous lesions, cancers in women epithelial cells in the squamous columnar junction zones, and minor differences of viral genome and its host cell which influence carcinogenic activity.
