The article discusses about a potentially historic shift in the financial architecture of sovereign debt management after systemic global debt crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include dimensions of Chinese lending in the Debt Service Suspension Initiative (DSSI) countries, fractionalized nature of bond markets after rise of China as a creditor and the common framework to bring official and private sector creditors together.
