Secondhand smoke and the brain.
Abstract
The article focuses on the study conducted by scientists at the University of California regarding the effect of inhaling secondhand smoke on the brain. It states that 24 people comprises of 13nonsmokers and 11 smokers were recruited to participated on the study. The study revealed that the impact of inhaling secondhand smoke in the brain is same as the effect of smoking a cigarette. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that secondhand smoke kills 50,000 Americans every year.
