- Abstract
The article focuses on the constitutional challenges for prohibiting access to three-parent in vitro fertilization (IVF), a therapeutic form of human germ line genetic modification (HGGM), in the U.S. Topics discussed include need get approval from the U.S. National Institute of Health (NIH) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), safety and efficacy of the human clinical trials of reproductive technology and need of legislation as the fundamental right of access to HGGM.
