- Abstract
The goal of the present paper is to present the methodology, through which impact of buyer - supplier relationship on business processes optimization performs. Thus the chosen organization strategy is updated to the ever-changing environmental and competition factors. Through the developed methodology the actual improvement of each process is implemented. Optimization is presented as a process that must be performed continuously to increase the income and benefits for the organization. The improvement of the processes is divided into two stages. Each of them is represented by specific phases and steps. They should be implemented consistently. In the first stage, the impact assessment of buyer-supplier relationships is presented. This is made by choosing specific criteria that describe these relationships. Subsequently, they are evaluated by a four-rank scale. Changing the values of even one of the criteria is a signal which starts business processes optimization and moving to stage two. This stage is divided into two phases - preparatory phase and optimization phase. In preparatory phase, the actual business processes and the improvement goal are transformed into vectors – primary and secondary vector. The comparison between primary vector (business processes) and the secondary vector (improvement goal) is carried out in the optimization phase. Then their effectiveness, potential and priorities for improvement are established. If new state of buyer-supplier relationship is established, implementation of the business process optimization should be performed once more.
