- Abstract
The article offers information on the diagnostic characters of Gracilinanus emiliae and assesses ecogeographic information. It notes that Gracilinanus emiliae is a species of gracile mouse opossum. It mentions that all published records of G. emiliae were reviewed and reported a new specimen northeastern Peru. It reveals that G. emiliae is wildly distributed in Amazonia and a sister taxon to other species of Gracilinanus. Moreover, it adds that G. emiliae can be separated from other congeneric species through a distinct combination of morphometric and qualitative characters.
