- Abstract
The article reports on the request of Department of Health Secretary Alan Johnson for workers in health, social care, police and housing spheres to embrace a three-year government strategy aimed at boosting life experiences of people with learning disabilities in Great Britain. The focus of the strategy is to improve health care and create more opportunities for paid work for people with learning disabilities. According to Johnson, learning disabilities services have improved.
