Psycho-educational groups in dual diagnosis.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the study which emphasizes the need for one person to experience supporting people with a dual diagnosis of learning disability and psychosis. The study involves eight individuals with a dual diagnosis of mild to borderline intellectual disabilities and psychosis. Both healthy people and people with disabilities are enjoined to themed sessions. Results reveal that both groups have been able to learn more about the concept of psychosis and the need for medication.
