- Abstract
The article discusses the proposal from physicians to stop the use antipsychotic drugs to control aggressive challenging behaviour in people with learning disabilities in Great Britain. The Department of Health suggests that the use of antipsychotic medication as a means of behavior control cannot cure patient's condition. It is stated that the medication is effective in children with autism and challenging behavior and in preventing further aggression.
