- Authors
Worthington, R. M.
- Abstract
The article discusses the formation of convection waves above mountains in Cross Fell, England and Wales. Several figures are provided which depict the topography and locations of Cross Fell, a satellite image of the area, and an image of the upper-level mountain-wave clouds. Also illustrated is the disappearance of the higher-wave clouds and the distribution of the boundary-layer convection.
