- Abstract
A literary criticism is presented of the book "The Female Husband" by Henry Fielding. Emphasis is given to the theme of vagrancy and practices of gendered embodiment in relation to the history of sexuality and vagrancy laws. Other topics include the relationship between desire and crime, religious conversion, and the economic aspects of sexuality.
