- Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the diverse bibliography that has been generated, around the role of the teacher in the teaching of statistics and the decisions he makes. The work has been divided into sections: the decisions of teachers; the learning of statistics and its didactics; learning as a form of participation; environments where the model of communities of practice has been applied; exploration of methodologies applied in case studies, within the framework of learning communities. The analysis of each one of them has allowed us to find that, most of the proposals are made for the secondary level, and that the results in terms of learning, are not completely satisfactory, among other results.
