Fredonia Group predicts U.S. specialty silicas to reach $1.7 billion in 2013.
Abstract
The article reports that the Freedonia Group Inc. has projected that the U.S. annual rate of silica demand will increase to 3.7% per year through 2013. The Group states that the volume on nondurable goods accelerated including rubber manufacturing and tire production. The Group added that changes in electronics technology and competition from nonsilica materials will also increase as will as the competition on production.
