- Abstract
The article deals with the jurisprudence on abortion regulation during the first term of pregnancy as cited in the U.S. Supreme Court cases of City of Akron v. Akron Center for Reproduction Health and Ohio v. Akron Center for Reproductive Health. Topics discussed include an overview of the legal ramifications of the case Roe v. Wade, the anti-abortion challenges and the Akron abortion law. Also discussed are the protests launched against the Akron law and the rights of physicians and patients.
