- Abstract
There are totally 11 sheets about writing paper of İstanbulnâme which is registered at the handwriting department of Çorum Hasan Paşa public library with the number of 2208/1. There are 17 lines in every each of sheets of piece. It is clear that it was written in hijri 1132 (christian era 1719-1720),we can understand it by the date of the end of piece. The piece belongs a poet who uses Rûhî pseudonym. There are not enough information about the poet who has a relation or not with the known poets who use Rûhî pseudonym. The piece, which has 350 verses, shows us mesnevi characteristics according to type of poetry. İstanbulnâme was written at the beginning of Lale era which contains 1718-1730 years. That is why, we sould comment it different way from that era. In the piece it is told that about effect of İstanbul on poet's soul, sea and Bosphorus, historical places on the Anatolia and Rumelia side, mansions and residential places. It has sahilnâme characteristic because of this speciality. In the other parts, it is told about the mosques in İstanbul. It has dâriyye characteristic because of this speciality. There are also verses which is told entertainments in it. In the declaration, it will be given short informations about either İstanbulnâme, or residential places and historical places in piece.
