- Abstract
Ideological novel is a novel that is presented to the service of a political or ideological thought and is written to change the environment or the world in line with this ideology, and depending on this particular ideology, it is a novel that makes 'literature a tool for a purpose other than itself'. It is one of the leading representatives of the thesis novel/ideological novel genre, which became increasingly widespread after the Republic with the influence of the new regime and Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu.
