- Abstract
The article presents a method for calculating the mass transfer of uranium dioxide in high-temperature unvented fuel element. Topics discussed include transfer of uranium-containing components in the Central Channel of a Kernel in accordance with the kinetic theory of gases, experimental validation of the model and computational modelling. It also discusses the effect of filler gas on the process.
